We’ve made it through that neck and neck Patriots vs Seahawks game–the winners have been determined, the halftime show has been performed (one of my favorite parts as I absolutely love Katy Perry, Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz), and the highly anticipated commercials have aired. While some commercials featured some of the biggest production and names in Entertainment, that doesn’t necessarily make a commercial great (T-Mobile). There really were some great one though!
My top Super Bowl ads were:
1. Invisible Mindy Kaling – Nationwide Insurance
If you follow the blog, you are well aware that Mindy Kaling is one of our favorite people of all times. She completely embodies everything TFL stands for–being bold and plowing through invisible barriers set by society’s expectations of what a leading lady “should” look like. She’s beautiful, brilliant and it is no surprise to me that she had the Best Super Bowl Commercial this year hands down for Nationwide Insurance.
2. Always – “Like A Girl”
This Always commercial sends a strong and important message. It’s so important to encourage young women and instill them with the confidence to be great at anything they set their mind to without succumbing to the stereotypical boxes set for girls and women. Do it like a boss!
3. Snickers – “The Brady Bunch”
A clever and cute commercial. Good job Snickers!
