A major congratulations to songwriter and TFL founder Chel Hill whose recent placement on the f(x) – ‘Pink Tape’ album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums chart and No. 21 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart the week of August 17th (the Billboard Magazine issue with producer Mike Will on cover).
f(x) is a leading girl group from South Korea signed to powerhouse label S.M. Entertainment. Their work crossed over onto the US iTunes and Billboard charts with hit single “Electric Shock” in 2012, and now with hit album ‘Pink Tape’.
Chel is a writer on song #3 “Pretty Girl”. The song is about a person’s true beauty being deeper than appearance.
“A ‘pretty girl’ is not always a ‘beautiful girl’. It is important to take pride in appearance, but even more important to take pride in who we are and what energy we contribute to society.” -Chel
When Chel isn’t busy working on TFL, she’s in the studio writing new songs. We look forward to many more records!
